JAKARTA, June 24, 2025 – Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has affirmed that Iran's military attacks on Israel will persist "until the last minute," set at 4:00 AM Tehran time, unless Israel ceases its assaults on Iran before that time.
Reported by Detik News, this statement was made via Araghchi's official account on X (formerly Twitter) following the U.S. announcement claiming a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran. However, Iran firmly denied any official treaty and insisted that all military operations remain active until their conditions are met.
According to Detik News, Iran is ready to halt military responses if Israel stops its attacks no later than 4:00 AM Tehran time, approximately 3:30 AM Israeli time. Iran declared it would continue military operations up to that moment, with the final decision on ending hostilities to be made thereafter.
Previously, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a "total ceasefire agreement" between Iran and Israel, a claim that was immediately refuted by Iranian officials.
Iran's official statement that their attacks will continue until "the last minute" highlights a highly unstable situation. Achieving a ceasefire now hinges on Israel stopping its attacks within the specified timeframe — a development closely monitored by multiple parties to prevent further escalation of the conflict.
